Playhouse Makeover 09
We are on the move! We have great plans to transform The Children's Playhouse this spring! Look for a new Vet Clinic, Meadow room, What's Cookin' Kitchen upstairs and an upgraded Romp and Stomp which will include a a climbing wall and Matisse-inspired mural. Can you help? Wonderful students will get the ball rolling on Monday, January 19th as part of the MLK Challenge, but we will need carpenters, semptresses, and handy people of all stripes. - wall pocket to hold 14"x17" x-rays
- child-sized doctor or vet jacket or scrubs (we want to have about 4 of these)
- play stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, etc (we will need multiple sets)
- pretend pet grooming props (brushes, combs, empty shampoo bottles)
- posters and books about animals and animal care
- fabric remnants and pillow forms or stuffing for floor pillows, cushions and curtains--we also need velcro
- large acoustic tiles for sound baffles in the basement
