This High Country destination is located in Boone and close to Blowing Rock, Jefferson, Banner Elk, Wilkesboro, and Mountain City. It offers flexible hours for open creative indoor/outdoor play as well as great classes for kids and adults.

New Winter to Spring Sessions of Music, Minds, and Motion!
Taught by seasoned teacher and performer Lisa Baldwin, these lively classes combine music, movement and stories. Classes for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school aged children will be offered beginning February 8th. We are now accepting donations of clothes, books, furniture, and household items for our 7th annual Baby Fair and Consignment Sale, held March 30-31, 2012. Would you like to make some money off your great stuff and also get a tax-deduction? Playhouse consigners make 60% and the 40% is a tax-deductible donation to The Playhouse. Parents Night Out Returns!
5:30-8: 30 pm on Fridays, February 3, February 24, March 23, and April 20
Kids have a blast with wonderful ASU volunteers while parents enjoy a night out. Cost is $12 for the first child, $6 per additional sibling. Want to Earn a Free Night Out? Adult supervisors may bring their own children and earn a free Parents Night Out to use at a later date. Call The Playhouse 828-263-0011 to reserve a spot or volunteer.
