Playhouse Receives Smart Start Grant to offer Brains and Babies and Special Families Facilitated Play Groups
Beginning in November, The Children's Playhouse will begin offering two special programs: Brains and Babies and Special Families. These free 10 week playgroups will be offered at The Children's Playhouse and will be facilitated by experts on psychology and development. We especially want to serve low-income families not enrolled in childcare. Enrollment is free but limited to 12 children per group. These groups are supported by a grant from Smart Start through the Children's Council of Watauga County. For more information, about Special Families click here. For more information about Brains and Babies, click here.
